Making mistakes is one the things that we cannot avoid in life as a human being. In my previous post, I pointed out some benefits of making mistakes. However, some people still see mistakes as an aberration but there are some important things we
gain from mistakes like; it can help you discover your potentials. Note that; mistakes can benefit you only when you discover it and take corrections.

Though mistakes have some benefits, its benefits should not be over emphasis, there are still some mistakes that injure our inner selves. There are some that create a great vacuum in us that it usually take us a long period of time before we can even think of forgetting it. Even though such a mistake may benefits us positively, but what we are going to gain from it may not reach like the damage or harm it caused in us.

There is one word that I will always like you to have in mind that ‘mistake is inevitable’. No one is above mistakes on earth. All we have to do is to take our mistakes as an advantage for us to explore more in life. Learn how to put yourself together and look for all the possible way to prevent yourself against making such a mistakes.

No matter the harm or damage it has caused, there are still some ways in which we can follow to come back to our normal self, to recover from those mistakes that affect us. I will be writing in this post the things that we can do to recover from that serious mistake which we made one time in life that the vacuum was still there. I am going to tell you how you can forget that your past life mistake and move forward. As you read through the below points, just meditate and know how it can help solve your problem.

Listed below are the 10 tips that will you recover from that your serious mistake.

1. Discover your mistakes

The first thing we have to do is to discover the mistake that we had made because I believe that it was only when we discover our mistakes that we can be able to solve it. You can only discover your mistake by reflecting back to your past life. Try to know when things are not going like before in your life. Try to know when there is change around you. With this, you can be able to discover your mistake and look for solutions.

2. Work on it

When you discover your mistakes, the next is to work on it. Avoid repeating the same mistake. Don't go back to the thing that lead to such a mistake. How you can do this is by being vigilant. Don't allow yourself to be carried away.

3. Forgive yourself

Yes, you have to forgive yourself in other for you to come back to your normal self. How do you expect to come back to your normal position while you are still in war with yourself? Stop blaming yourself for it.

4. Try something new for at least a month

Trying something new thing could be one of the ways of coming back to position. Who knows whether that was the right thing that you suppose to do before? So engaging yourself in new things might make you to forget that your past mistakes.

5. Be yourself

Copying others will always remind you of your past mistake especailly when you do  not succeed in doingbwhat you copied. Try to be yourself, be real and you will see yourself working to the right part thereby forgeting your past mistake and coming to your position.

6. Do what you love

It is almost the same with the above point but not really the same. Do what you love, don't allow anybody to control your actions because you may not like the out come of it. Involving yourself in something that you enjoy and loved will not only fit you back to position but it will also add joy and happiness to your life.

7. Be secret

Being secret I mean is that you should try to keep your goals to yourself at least in the beginning. Remember that not everyone will like your goals or plans. When you have a plan, work on it secretary until it start yielding values. When you open your plans, they might give you one reason or the other while you should not carry on with your plan, therefore making your past mistakes worst. Who knows whether it was because you open your past plan that caused the mistake? For me i don't know oo!!. Remember that when you tell them your goals, if you fail to achieve it, they will mock you thereby making you to feel somehow.

8. Be inquistive

That I told you to keep your goals secret those not mean that you should not ask questions. Anytime you feel like you are loosing it, go to your advisor or someone you trust ( though don't trust anybody 100%). Ask those that have succeeded how they did it but don't copy them exactly.

9. Improve

 Now that you are returing to your normal position after that serious mistake, Improve in the current effort you are making. Don't allow the things around you to be a hindrance. Get involve in more things and see yourself feeling fulfilled.

10. Lastly, Focus

Focus on the future and not the past. Don't recall what happen at the past. Don't  allow anyone to rule your life. Focusing more will not only help you recover but it will also make you to discover more of your potential.

Conclusion: I believe that with the above points, it will help and be a guidance for recovering quick after that your serious mistakes. Always remember that mistake is not what we have to be running for because MISTAKE IS INEVITABLE.
