This is to inform the Uniben Students and the General Public as well that the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has
released their 2016/2017 academic session calendar.
Thus, Old and New Students comes into Campus 07/10/2016 for the 2016/2017 academic session while lectures begins 10/10/2016 for the 2016/2017 academic session. Meanwhile, Matriculation of fresh students is on 02/12/2016. And first semester exams begin on 09/01/2017.

10/10/2016 – Lectures begin for 1st semester 2016/2017 academic session.
24/11/2016 – Deadline for registration and payment of school charges/fees For 2016/2017 - academic session (six weeks)
02/12/2016 – Matriculation (8 weeks after resumption).
16/12/2016 – End of 1st semester lectures for 2016/2017
19/12/2016 – 02/01/2017 Two weeks Christmas Break
03/01/2017 – 06/01/2017 Revision
09/01/2017 – Examinations begin in Faculties of Education/Pharmacy/Engineering/ Life Sciences/Physical Sciences
13/01/2017 – CED Examination.
14/01/2017 – General Studies Examination.
16/01/2017 – 27/01/2017 Other Faculties Examination begins (two weeks)
28/01/2017 – 10/02/2017 Students go down for first semester break (17 week) Two weeks break.

11/02/2017 – Students come into residence for second semester.
